Remember the fireworks this summer? It's a great memory--everyone standing shoulder to shoulder, eyes fixed heavenward, faces raised with the confident expectation that something amazing was about to emerge from the darkness. I love fireworks--serpentines, chrysanthemums, and whatever those orange thingies are that keep whistling right up to the very second they burn out. They remind me so much of G G Kreiser. Burn out sucks especially on Mondays, which, by the way, you told me were actually Thursdays, but anyway,keep whistling. Usually the night sky's just a backdrop for really neat stuff. xo Mom
